The Land Department registered 2,376 property sales in April 2011, worth AED 5.16B in total, across 61 communities. That is 18% fewer than the same month a year earlier.

The median sale was AED 1,103,333 at AED 800/sqft, 0.2% below the same month last year. 9% of sales were off-plan.

Al Thanyah Fifth was the busiest community with 451 registered sales, while Marsa Dubai took the most money at AED 719.25M.

Against the previous month, Al Barsha South Fourth rose 72% to 220 sales, while Al Thanyah Third fell 46% to 116.
