Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside October 2013. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 7,950 property sales in October 2013, worth AED 17.96B in total, across 94 communities. That is 96% more than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,275,000 at AED 914/sqft, 9% above the same month last year. 20% of sales were off-plan.
Burj Khalifa was the busiest community with 1,074 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 3.75B.
Against the previous month, Burj Khalifa rose 102% to 1,074 sales, while Jabal Ali First fell 39% to 123.
