Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside July 2014. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 3,074 property sales in July 2014, worth AED 9.91B in total, across 86 communities. That is 44% fewer than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,196,200 at AED 1,020/sqft, 11.5% above the same month last year. 27% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 363 registered sales, while Al Yelayiss 2 took the most money at AED 1.59B.
Against the previous month, Al Hebiah First rose 28% to 104 sales, while Business Bay fell 66% to 310.
