Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside August 2018. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 1,564 property sales in August 2018, worth AED 4.53B in total, across 80 communities. That is 63% fewer than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,100,507 at AED 935/sqft, 10.7% below the same month last year. 40% of sales were off-plan.
Al Barsha South Fourth was the busiest community with 130 registered sales, while Burj Khalifa took the most money at AED 925.57M.
Against the previous month, Marsa Dubai fell 60% to 104.
