Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside January 2019. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 2,134 property sales in January 2019, worth AED 4.77B in total, across 97 communities. That is 34% fewer than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 992,031 at AED 925/sqft, 17.3% below the same month last year. 42% of sales were off-plan.
Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid was the busiest community with 216 registered sales, while Business Bay took the most money at AED 394.64M.
Against the previous month, Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid rose 83% to 216 sales, while Palm Jumeirah fell 45% to 67.
