Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside January 2020. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 2,633 property sales in January 2020, worth AED 4.89B in total, across 92 communities. That is 23% more than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,110,888 at AED 905/sqft, 2.2% below the same month last year. 45% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 265 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 536.29M.
Against the previous month, Jabal Ali First rose 16% to 74 sales, while Madinat Al Mataar fell 79% to 59.
