Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q1 2010. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.

The Land Department registered 12,486 property sales in Q1 2010, worth AED 22.70B in total, across 93 communities. That is 3% more than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,078,678 at AED 917/sqft, 41% above the same quarter last year. 55% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 2,453 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 5.13B.
Against the previous quarter, Business Bay rose 162% to 1,354 sales, while Al Hebiah First fell 69% to 170.
