Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q3 2014. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 11,262 property sales in Q3 2014, worth AED 30.03B in total, across 117 communities. That is 24% fewer than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,200,000 at AED 990/sqft, 11.4% above the same quarter last year. 29% of sales were off-plan.
Business Bay was the busiest community with 1,327 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 2.49B.
Against the previous quarter, Al Yelayiss 1 rose 276% to 489 sales, while Wadi Al Safa 7 fell 84% to 59.
