Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q1 2019. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 7,659 property sales in Q1 2019, worth AED 18.04B in total, across 130 communities. That is 12% fewer than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,123,888 at AED 966/sqft, 13.4% below the same quarter last year. 48% of sales were off-plan.
Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid was the busiest community with 766 registered sales, while Wadi Al Safa 5 took the most money at AED 1.97B.
Against the previous quarter, Wadi Al Safa 7 rose 189% to 275 sales, while Al Warsan First fell 66% to 333.
