Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside May 2018. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 3,379 property sales in May 2018, worth AED 7.95B in total, across 96 communities. That is 22% fewer than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,010,585 at AED 1,107/sqft, 16.3% above the same month last year. 55% of sales were off-plan.
Al Merkadh was the busiest community with 320 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 632.91M.
Against the previous month, Al Merkadh rose 86% to 320 sales, while Al Hebiah Fourth fell 36% to 88.
