Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q3 2018. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 6,806 property sales in Q3 2018, worth AED 16.04B in total, across 118 communities. That is 37% fewer than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,149,000 at AED 926/sqft, 11.2% below the same quarter last year. 45% of sales were off-plan.
Business Bay was the busiest community with 598 registered sales, while Burj Khalifa took the most money at AED 1.47B.
Against the previous quarter, Wadi Al Safa 5 rose 232% to 252 sales, while Al Merkadh fell 53% to 257.
