Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside March 2020. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 3,039 property sales in March 2020, worth AED 6.82B in total, across 93 communities. That is 15% more than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,214,100 at AED 1,001/sqft, 1.7% above the same month last year. 48% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 379 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 860.37M.
Against the previous month, Al Thanyah Fifth rose 48% to 166 sales, while Madinat Al Mataar fell 63% to 61.
