Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside April 2014. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 5,537 property sales in April 2014, worth AED 14.46B in total, across 90 communities. That is 2% fewer than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,491,477 at AED 1,021/sqft, 14.8% above the same month last year. 23% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 604 registered sales, while Burj Khalifa took the most money at AED 1.83B.
Against the previous month, Wadi Al Safa 7 rose 173% to 319 sales, while Dubai Investment Park Second fell 45% to 51.
