Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q2 2016. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 10,770 property sales in Q2 2016, worth AED 26.92B in total, across 130 communities. That is 9% more than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,211,214 at AED 959/sqft, 1.9% below the same quarter last year. 42% of sales were off-plan.
Business Bay was the busiest community with 783 registered sales, while Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid took the most money at AED 2.47B.
Against the previous quarter, Dubai Investment Park First rose 204% to 216 sales, while Saih Shuaib 1 fell 85% to 261.
