Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q4 2016. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 10,156 property sales in Q4 2016, worth AED 27.23B in total, across 127 communities. That is 18% fewer than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,095,630 at AED 914/sqft, 0.5% below the same quarter last year. 32% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 714 registered sales, while Al Hebiah Fourth took the most money at AED 2.05B.
Against the previous quarter, Al Yufrah 2 rose 468% to 432 sales, while Saih Shuaib 1 fell 72% to 98.
