Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside May 2017. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 4,333 property sales in May 2017, worth AED 10.57B in total, across 120 communities. That is 23% more than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,157,000 at AED 952/sqft, 1.9% below the same month last year. 40% of sales were off-plan.
Al Barsha South Fourth was the busiest community with 446 registered sales, while Palm Jumeirah took the most money at AED 700.15M.
Against the previous month, Al Barsha South Fourth rose 64% to 446 sales, while Al Wasl fell 36% to 58.
