Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q2 2018. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 8,436 property sales in Q2 2018, worth AED 20.87B in total, across 124 communities. That is 25% fewer than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,140,000 at AED 1,073/sqft, 10.6% above the same quarter last year. 49% of sales were off-plan.
Business Bay was the busiest community with 795 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 2.03B.
Against the previous quarter, Al Barshaa South Third rose 171% to 203 sales, while Al Kifaf fell 65% to 76.
