Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q4 2018. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 8,262 property sales in Q4 2018, worth AED 18.51B in total, across 129 communities. That is 23% fewer than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,121,047 at AED 930/sqft, 9.5% below the same quarter last year. 48% of sales were off-plan.
Al Warsan First was the busiest community with 990 registered sales, while Burj Khalifa took the most money at AED 1.28B.
Against the previous quarter, Al Khairan First rose 150% to 265 sales, while Wadi Al Safa 3 fell 61% to 75.
