Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q2 2020. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 5,031 property sales in Q2 2020, worth AED 10.13B in total, across 89 communities. That is 41% fewer than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,228,888 at AED 1,030/sqft, 3.2% above the same quarter last year. 60% of sales were off-plan.
Al Merkadh was the busiest community with 541 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 1.37B.
Against the previous quarter, Um Suqaim Third rose 31% to 114 sales, while Burj Khalifa fell 70% to 211.
