Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside May 2022. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 6,501 property sales in May 2022, worth AED 18.29B in total, across 97 communities. That is 53% more than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,615,777 at AED 1,206/sqft, 27.8% above the same month last year. 40% of sales were off-plan.
Business Bay was the busiest community with 755 registered sales, while Burj Khalifa took the most money at AED 1.90B.
Against the previous month, Al Wasl rose 176% to 248 sales, while Al Barshaa South Third fell 42% to 115.
