Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q4 2019. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 11,728 property sales in Q4 2019, worth AED 23.06B in total, across 122 communities. That is 42% more than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,275,888 at AED 948/sqft, 1.9% above the same quarter last year. 59% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 992 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 2.54B.
Against the previous quarter, Jumeirah First rose 292% to 502 sales, while Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid fell 33% to 407.
