Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q1 2021. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 11,367 property sales in Q1 2021, worth AED 24.36B in total, across 125 communities. That is 22% more than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,250,000 at AED 892/sqft, 6.5% below the same quarter last year. 33% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 1,150 registered sales, and also took the most money at AED 2.67B.
Against the previous quarter, Me'Aisem First rose 82% to 226 sales, while Dubai Investment Park First fell 65% to 74.
