Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside December 2022. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 8,969 property sales in December 2022, worth AED 25.15B in total, across 122 communities. That is 64% more than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,600,000 at AED 1,361/sqft, 26.2% above the same month last year. 48% of sales were off-plan.
Al Merkadh was the busiest community with 964 registered sales, while Marsa Dubai took the most money at AED 2.80B.
Against the previous month, Al Thanyah Third rose 339% to 294 sales, while Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid fell 61% to 202.
