Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q4 2017. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 10,697 property sales in Q4 2017, worth AED 25.97B in total, across 126 communities. That is 5% more than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,084,000 at AED 1,027/sqft, 12.4% above the same quarter last year. 49% of sales were off-plan.
Business Bay was the busiest community with 848 registered sales, while Marsa Dubai took the most money at AED 1.71B.
Against the previous quarter, Al Hebiah Third rose 266% to 337 sales, while Zaabeel Second fell 73% to 76.
