Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside August 2016. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 4,311 property sales in August 2016, worth AED 14.08B in total, across 101 communities. That is 30% more than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,529,552 at AED 979/sqft, 4.7% above the same month last year. 46% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 323 registered sales, while Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid took the most money at AED 1.39B.
Against the previous month, Saih Shuaib 1 rose 259% to 251 sales, while Al Khairan First fell 58% to 95.
