Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q2 2017. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 11,252 property sales in Q2 2017, worth AED 27.74B in total, across 135 communities. That is 4% more than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,173,888 at AED 970/sqft, 1.1% above the same quarter last year. 42% of sales were off-plan.
Al Barsha South Fourth was the busiest community with 913 registered sales, while Palm Jumeirah took the most money at AED 1.80B.
Against the previous quarter, Al Yufrah 2 rose 159% to 569 sales, while Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid fell 72% to 137.
