Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside Q1 2017. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.
The Land Department registered 13,484 property sales in Q1 2017, worth AED 36.81B in total, across 128 communities. That is 13% more than the same quarter a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 1,288,888 at AED 966/sqft, 7.7% above the same quarter last year. 50% of sales were off-plan.
Marsa Dubai was the busiest community with 919 registered sales, while Burj Khalifa took the most money at AED 2.82B.
Against the previous quarter, Burj Khalifa rose 162% to 631 sales, while Dubai Investment Park Second fell 67% to 74.
